Andrew Lawhead, Campus Minister
Andrew joined the Campus House team in January of 2025. He is originally from Arizona, where his life was changed through campus ministry as a student at Arizona State. He has called East Tennessee home since 2019, when he moved to study at Emmanuel Christian Seminary (M.Div. ’23). Andrew is passionate about spiritual transformation, prayer, and good conversations (preferably over coffee). He lives in Kingsport with his wife, Shelby, where he enjoys running, watching baseball, reading, and baking.
Emma has spent most of her life in Johnson City, and joined Campus House summer of 2023. She graduated from Milligan University and previously worked with Gloabalscope at a campus ministry in Australia. She’s had a passion for working with college students since she was a student herself and is always down for a board game.
Kassie Combs, Resident
Kassie is an ETSU student graduating in December with a degree in Human Services. She is am very passionate about helping and supporting those in need and have been able to live that out through different ministry opportunities, jobs and internships, and through meaningful conversations. Simply put, she’s not sure what after graduation looks like yet. However, God has put ministry on her heart for the past few years and she feels blessed to be in the position that she is in.
The Campus House is overseen by a Board of Advisors.
